Texto disponível em inglês (Text available in English)

United States: Miniseminar meets three hundred ladies in Massachusetts

Three hundred ladies from the State of Massachusetts in the United States participated in a regional miniseminar last Sunday morning, January 26. The event was held at Maranatha Christian Church in Marlborough, with internet broadcast for the brethren of the Chicago área, in Illinois. In addition to the three classes given by local pastors, the servants followed the Sunday School presented directly from the Mahanaim of Domingos Martins, Brazil, about the parable of the Rich Fool.

"We left this seminar very edified. The classes and the Sunday School led us to rethink our position as servants, wives, mothers and sisters of each other. Events like this make us appreciate even more all the blessings the Lord has given us," said Graça Moreira from Everett's church. "We are like Ruth, with no right to be part of the faithful church, but the grace of the Lord has reached us," she added.

Grace and Gratitude

Ruth's story was the theme of the miniseminar closure class, taught by Pastor Gerson Beluci. "Ruth is type of the church that, without the right to inheritance, attained grace by being faithful, obedient, humble and courageous. Many sisters have experienced moments similar to Ruth's as they face a new culture and a new country, but remain faithful, for they had an experience with this Work. We find grace before the Lord and gleaned our food in the field of Boaz, the one who is the Strong God, the supplier, El Shaddai, which is in control of all things," explained the pastor during the message.

The event began at 8:00 a.m., with two messages about valuing prophecy and gratitude to the Lord for salvation. After a brief break, there was the transmission of the Sunday School at 10 a.m.  Pastors Alessandro Afonso, Donald Pelto, Gerson Beluci, Ramis Abbasov, Roquevalder de Oliveira and the anointed Abimael Pizoni, Cleidson Max Pereira, Edinei Oliveira, Marcos Paulino and Wilson Moura were present.
