Special seminar of the Maranatha Christian Church in Panama

Brethren from several Central American countries gathered to learn more about The Word of God. This event was a watershed for the Work

On the last weekend (18 and19), a special seminar of the Maranatha Christian Church took place in the city of Aguadulce, region that is 200 km from Panama city, the capital of Panama. For this event, seven Pastors from Brazil were attending to teach classes and provide assistance to Attending brethren, as well as to the 17 Pastors from the Central America.

The classes were given throughout Saturday, and on Monday morning the congregation received the Sunday school broadcast through the satellite, where they received a gretting from the presidente of the church, Pastor Gedelti Victalino Gueiros. The Sunday School dynamics, conducted by Vicente Castillo, that is a Pastor from Panama, It was a great blessing that 200 brethren from many Central American countries, as Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Porto Rico, Panama, beside Mexico and Bolivia, could learn more about the holy Scriptures.

The church also received a group of indian of the district of Ngobe-Buglé, indian comunity of Panama, that were amazed by the operation of Lord Jesus during the classes. Maanaim Radio had been there, in the person of Pastor Josias Júnior, that did all the covering of the two days of seminar, and witnessed what God have been doing beyond Brazil. “The seminar was a watershed of the Work’s growth, and the unit of the doctrine abroad.”

OUTSET

The Work in Panama started 15 years ago, through the Pastor Jamilson Rodrigues (RJ) and Jorge Peredo Flores (Bolivia), that were also present in the seminar. Nowadays, beyond of the temple in the city of Aguadulce, also there is a work and a prayer house in the City of Panama, and The Lord Jesus has been operating great blessings in the brethren’s life of this region, and saving and freeing many lives.
